Further commitment

This year, we saved even more CO2 during the city cycling event and came second out of 42 companies in our municipality (average kilometers cycled per capita).
Many thanks to all our colleagues for their great commitment to environmental protection!

Suzana Vogel
Sustainability Officer | SCHAEFER GmbH

„At SCHAEFER, we believe that: Environment is the future!
Responsibility for a more aware use of resources and raw materials lies in the hands of each individual. “Climate protection” needs active participation. Engaged involvement of colleagues from all areas is therefore essential. By continuously optimizing sustainable work processes, we continue to set ourselves the goal of reducing our CO2 emissions. From a company’s point of view, climate protection is not only a moral obligation, but also an economic necessity. The reasons for this are many and varied, and a closer look will show that it makes sense not only ecologically, but also economically and socially. We at SCHAEFER are proud of what we have achieved so far. The positive changes are visible and we hope that our commitment will also encourage other companies to take action. Because only together can we ensure a sustainable future for generations of tomorrow.”
